Embracing Transparency: The Importance of Data Sharing in Building Donor Trust

5. Use multiple channels to communicate impact
Not all donors read email updates. Share results across your website, newsletters, social media, and in-person events. A mix of formats, from short videos to infographics to blog posts, ensures you reach supporters in the way they prefer to engage.

6. Build transparency into everyday operations
Do not limit transparency to campaigns. Publish key metrics regularly, such as the number of people served, program milestones reached, or community partnerships formed. This steady flow of information reinforces that your nonprofit delivers real results.
