Danielle’s marketing journey began in the investment sector, where she gained a strong foundation in market research, client engagement, and strategic communications.

Danielle began her marketing journey in investments before transitioning over to a kids and family speciality agency, where, as Business Development and Marketing Manager, she teamed up with prominent family brands like the BC Lions, Boston Pizza, Toronto Blue Jays, Cracker Barrel, and the Boston Red Sox.

While she valued the analytical side of marketing, she soon discovered her passion for creative strategy and brand development. This led her to transition into the world of consumer marketing, joining a kids and family specialty agency where she honed her skills in marketing strategy, audience engagement, and business development.

As Business Development and Marketing Manager, Danielle worked with prominent family brands such as the BC Lions, Boston Pizza, Toronto Blue Jays, Cracker Barrel, and the Boston Red Sox. In this role, she spearheaded strategic partnerships, created targeted campaigns, and helped brands build lasting connections with their audiences. From large-scale sponsorships to community-driven initiatives, she developed a keen understanding of how to craft marketing programs that drive awareness, engagement, and loyalty.

Danielle later took on a leadership role as Marketing Director at an agency specializing in nonprofit marketing. This transition allowed her to merge her strategic expertise with her passion for purpose-driven work. In this role, she led marketing strategy and awareness campaigns for both large and small nonprofit organizations, helping them refine their messaging, expand their reach, and increase donor engagement. Through this experience, she developed a deep understanding of nonprofit strategy, fundraising strategy, and brand strategy—three pillars that continue to shape her work today.

Recognizing the need for high-quality, accessible marketing support in the nonprofit sector, Danielle founded Anchor Marketing in 2018. As the Founder and Lead Strategist, she assembled a talented team dedicated to helping organizations navigate the complexities of marketing with clarity and confidence. With a marketing generalist approach, Danielle and her team work across various disciplines, including brand strategy, nonprofit marketing, and digital communications, to provide customized solutions tailored to each client’s needs.

Under Danielle’s leadership, Anchor Marketing has helped a diverse range of clients—from grassroots nonprofits to national organizations—develop impactful marketing strategies, execute awareness campaigns, and strengthen their fundraising efforts. She believes that every organization, regardless of size or budget, deserves strategic marketing leadership to help them achieve their mission.

Beyond leading Anchor, Danielle also provides consulting services as a fractional CMO, working with organizations that need senior-level marketing leadership without the commitment of a full-time executive. In this capacity, she advises on nonprofit strategy, marketing leadership, and fundraising strategy, helping organizations build sustainable marketing frameworks that support long-term growth. Whether she’s guiding a team through a rebrand, crafting an awareness campaign, or optimizing a fundraising strategy, her focus remains on delivering measurable impact.
