Summerland Credit Union (SCU) recognized a critical need to address wage equity within their organization and the broader community in 2024. Understanding the significance of fair compensation and inclusivity, SCU sought to develop and implement an initiative but lacked the internal resources and expertise to bring this vision to fruition effectively. This challenge prompted them to seek partnership with Anchor MarketingI, aiming to create a sustainable and impactful Wage Equity Initiative that could resonate across industries and promote equitable practices.

Sunshine Coast Community Services Society (SCCSS) has been a vital force in the community since 1974, providing essential support services to individuals and families across the Sunshine Coast. With over 85 professional staff and 175 volunteers, SCCSS operates more than 30 programs that address crisis response, housing, family services, and advocacy. Dedicated to fostering social equity, SCCSS works to create opportunities that enable people to achieve their full potential while building a stronger, more connected community.

The Results

We’ve successfully transformed SCU’s vision into reality, moving from concept through to its upcoming launch. From the initial spark of an idea, we’ve pieced together every element and it’s now ready to be shared with the world. As we celebrate reaching this milestone, we also acknowledge that there’s much more to come. This achievement marks the beginning of our journey, and we eagerly anticipate the next steps in helping SCU achieve their goals.

What We Did

Marketing Strategy Development

Based on insights gathered from SCU and drawing from their aspirations and objectives, we came up with a marketing launch strategy to help guide the internal development of their idea. Our strategy serves as a comprehensive roadmap, providing clear direction and actionable steps to accomplish goals and fulfill tasks effectively.

Messaging & Branding Strategy

We took great care in creating clear and impactful messaging to convey SCU’s vision for Wage Equity. Our comprehensive branding strategy encompassed all elements of communication, including naming, logo & visual brand development, WordPress website creation, brand templates, and copywriting.

Web Development

Our approach prioritized user-friendly web design and seamless functionality, ensuring the user journey is easy to navigate and provides access to relevant and credible information. By implementing a content plan and developing for optimized performance on web and mobile, we delivered a site that effectively represents the Wage Equity initiative.

Campaign Launch

After finishing all the necessary groundwork, we were ready to launch the campaign! We set out a plan for a soft launch within the credit union industry and then to the broader business community after. Dates and milestones with measurable objectives were marked out throughout the campaign and we devised a marketing plan to reach as many companies as possible, encouraging them to take the pledge for wage equity.
